**Electronics Recycling Changes**

Effective January 5, 2019, Boy Scout Troop 34 will be taking over recycling from the Citizens for a Better Tomorrow (CBT).

With this transition, collection will continue to be held the first Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 AM; however, the collection location will move to the Karz Recycling Warehouse at 405 E. Illinois St, New Baden. The Scouts will accept electronics, appliances, and scrap metal. TVs, computer monitors, furniture, and glass will not be accepted.

Additionally, Troop 34 requests that recycling items be dropped off only during the specified collection period. Please do not leave items when the Scouts are not present or at the previously utilized CBT storage facility.

Pickup of recycling items at your home or business can be arranged by emailing Troop 34 at bsa.stclair.troop34@gmail.com.

Troop 34 thanks CBT for the support they provided to the Scouts and the New Baden community through the recycling program. Their donations supported many Scout activities to include summer camps, canoe trips, and equipment purchases. Your involvement with New Baden Boy Scout Troop 34 will be greatly missed.

Housing choice is a response to an extremely complex set of economic, social, and psychological impulses. For example, some households may choose to spend more on housing because they feel they can afford to, while others may not have a choice.
