Qualified Non-highway Vehicles
The Village of New Baden has, by ordinance, authorized the operation of certain qualified non-highway vehicles on Village streets as permitted by 625 ILCS 5/11-1426.1 (D) for residents within the corporate limits of New Baden.
All qualified non-highway vehicles must have certain equipment and must be registered with and licensed by the Village of New Baden.

There is a $25.00 annual registration, inspection and license fee.
Electronic Recycling
Effective January 2020, collection will now be held the first Saturday of the EVEN months from 9 to 11 am. The collection location will be at the Karz Recycling Warehouse at 405 E. Illinois St, New Baden. The Scouts will accept electronics, appliances, and scrap metal. TVs, computer monitors, furniture, and glass WILL NOT BE accepted.
Troop 34 requests that recycling items be dropped off only during the specified collection period. Please do not leave items when the Scouts are not present.
Pickup of recycling items at your home or business can be arranged by emailing Troop 34 at bsa.stclair.troop34@gmail.com.
